The Young Sudbury Singers will join the St. Andrew’s Church Choir and several community musicians to provide musical leadership for the Advent One service on the theme of Hope.

MCTV / Lions Telethon
Saturday, December 3 ~ Place des Arts, 27 Larch St.

The Young Sudbury Singers will perform “Over the River” on the Telethon, our eighth performance on this annual fundraising program.

SONGS OF THE SEASON
Sunday, December 11, 2023  @ 2 pm ~ Lockerby Composite School

Our choirs will join with the No Strings Attached Community Band to offer a family-friendly concert featuring a variety of Christmas favorites and other seasonal selections. All proceeds from this performance will be donated to the Sudbury Food Bank.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children (age 6 and under are free).

WINTER TERM REGISTRATION NIGHT ~ Wednesday January 11/23 @ 6 pm ~ Sudbury Secondary School

New registrations are welcome for the two choirs that will be offered in the Winter term (subject to enrolment):

JUNIOR CHOIR (Grade 2 to 4), directed by Colette Nadeau ~ Wednesday evenings, 6 – 7 pm

SENIOR CHOIR (Grade 5+), directed by Heather Charsley ~ Wednesday evenings, 6 – 7:30 pm

Weekly choir rehearsals will be held at Sudbury Secondary School, 154 College St. in downtown Sudbury.

The YOUNG SUDBURY SINGERS plan to release two videos in the new year, as well as::

  • Performing in the Sudbury Music Festival in late March, and
  • Presenting a joint concert with the Nickel City Sound Women’s Barbershop Chorus on Saturday April 22.
