How to Register

Registration for the Winter/Spring term is now closed. YOUNG SUDBURY SINGERS will open registration for our Fall term in mid-August. Three choirs will be offered (subject to enrolment):

JUNIOR CHOIR (Grade 1 to 4) – Wednesday evenings, 6 to 7 pm ~ Colette Nadeau, director

INTERMEDIATE CHOIR (Grade 2 to 5) – Wednesdays, 6 to 7:30 pm ~ Jessie Lloyd, director

SENIOR CHOIR (Grade 5+) – Wednesday evenings, 6 to 8 pm ~ Heather Charsley, director

Weekly in-person choir rehearsals will be held at Sudbury Secondary School, 154 College St. in downtown Sudbury. When the school is not available, rehearsals move to the Sudbury Theatre Centre, 170 Shaughnessy St. 

Pre-registration is strongly encouraged, to help us with our planning.

1. REGISTRATION FORM: Click on the link below to fill out an online registration form.

Please complete one registration form for each participating singer in your family. (If you are registering more than one child in the same family, we consider the oldest participating child as the first child, and so on.)

2. PAYMENT: Email youngsudburysingers@gmail.com to let us know: (a) the name and age of the child(ren) you’ve registered (so we can confirm that we have received your online registration and the total amount owing), and (b) whether you intend to pay by e-transfer or mail a cheque (one payment for all the children in the same family).

*New students have the option of attending the first rehearsal at no cost to see what YSS has to offer, before making a financial commitment.

To submit your payment: 

a) If you wish to pay by e-transfer, we will provide banking instructions in response to your email request.

OR

b) You may mail a cheque payable to “YOUNG SUDBURY SINGERS” (one cheque per family please) to:

*PLEASE NOTE: Registration is not complete until payment is received.

SUBSIDIES AVAILABLE – YSS has a Sponsorship Fund to which families can apply to help offset their child’s fees. For more information, contact our General Manager (see contact information below).

*A limited number of subsidies are available for eligible students, based on need. Subsidies are generally awarded for 50% of a term’s costs – in cases of exceptional need, larger subsidies may be available.
